It just happens.
Scenes are linked from the underground by deep currents, invisible on the surface of the earth.
Little dialogue. Retorts are quick.
The film is a tragedy.
The strength of cinema is to enable us to inhabit a world, as the dreamer inhabits his dream.

As plastic artists expressing themselves through sound and sound
artists using visual effects, Pink Twins have created some link
between their sound and visual works. They try to intimately bring
together fragments from daily life, which do not necessary have
anything in common. They start with fragments of images, sounds,
sensations, which we have to deal with on a daily basis. They separate
those fragments in small particles and reassemble them in a audacious
way, starting from chaos, according to a unified artistic sensibility.

For each presidential election since 1984, Antoni Muntadas and Marshall Reese edit a new version of “Political Advertisement”, a documentary work on campaign advertising involved in the presidential election from 1952 to present. As Muntadas and Reese explain how TV commercials developed, political strategies and marketing techniques for manipulating the televised election campaign in the United States emerge. Politic sold as a product. |
