Ceci a été réalisé à la fin décembre 1998. Le travail a commencé en 1996/97 avec la recherche de documentation sur la manifestation à Belgrade et les tensions entre police et manifestants. En décembre 1999, nous avons poursuivi notre travail, toujours en Yougoslavie. La répression était bien plus forte qu'auparavant même si ceci reste difficile à traduire en images.
En réaction à cette répression, certains jeunes se lancent des défis: qui sautera le premier du pont. A travers cette analogie, j'ai voulu montrer ce que pourrait devenir notre futur si la situation ne change pas. C'était simplement un appel isolé; mais, il existe un risque de généralisation.


This I made in the last days 1998. It is strating in 1996/97 with the documentation about the demonstration in Begrade and the police pressure on the people there. After that we are going again in the future, in december 1999 in Yusgouslavia. Pressure on the people althought not so clearly seenable, is now much stronger, even unbearable. As a reaction on it... A group of youths are making a race: who will be the first to jump from the bridge. through this analogy I wanted to show people what may be in our future if the things continue like they are going now. It was just an appeal ,but soon it can really become truth.
