Hubert Barrion, alias Victor Kolbitr a suivi un parcours autodidacte. Il pratique la peinture depuis 1986. Plus tard, il s'oriente vers les performances visuelles et sonores (mise en scène de mythologies intimes). Il effectue des performances à l'étranger (en Suisse, en Russie...) et crée une installation sonore en hommage à Henri Michaux ainsi que plusieurs auto-productions musicales sur cassette (collages de mots , de sons et de musiques piratées). Il joue également dans différents films et performances théâtrales . En 1996, il débute des expériences filmées: son premier film, "La Ronde", est réalisé seul et clandestinement pendant son service de veilleur de nuit dans un musée . Aujourd'hui, il est l'auteur de cinq films, qu'il a réalisés seul ou en collaboration avec d'autres artistes de façon radicalement indépendante.

He performed abroad, designed a sound installation meant as a tribute to Henri Michaux, as well as several self-produced music tapes. Furthermore, he has appeared in various films and theatrical performances. To this date, he has made five films, either on his own or in collaboration, but always as a convinced independent.

He performed abroad (including Switzerland and Russia), designed a sound installation meant as a tribute to Henri Michaux, as well as several self-produced music tapes (collage of words, sounds and pirated music pieces). Furthermore, he has appeared in various films and theatrical performances. 1996 saw the beginning of his experimentations with film: he shot his first work "La Ronde" ("The rounds") secretly and on his own while on duty as a night watchman in a museum. To this date, he has made five films, either on his own or in collaboration with other artists, but always as a convinced independent.
