À partir de matériaux vidéos (audio et images qui fonctionnent comme de l'audio) évoquer le souvenir, faire venir à la sensation, par le son et l'image, l'intensité d'un temps révolu, par exemple, pour l'utilisation la plus commune de la vidéo, les vacances, ou ici, un voyage à l'étranger. Le pari est sonore et non narrativement structuré. La vidéo ainsi réalisée est destinée à honorer l'amitié qui me liait à la personne avec qui je partageais ce " voyage à l'étranger ", ces " vacances ".


From video materials (sounds and images working like audio material), the goal is to evoke memories, to make the intensity of a past time come to sensation, through sound and image, for example in the most common use of video: holidays, or here, a trip to a foreign country. It is a sound and non-narrative structured bet. The video thus made is aimed at honouring the friendship which tied me to the person with whom I shared this "trip to a foreign country", these "holidays".

Etudes de logique et de philosophie à l'université de Paris XII, puis voyage en Afrique. Etudes d'architecture à l'ESA, Bd Raspail à Paris XIV. Apprentissage de différents modes d'expression artistique : peinture et cinéma. Cours de G. Deleuze et ateliers de P. Virilio. Après le diplôme, création de l'agence et de l'atelier " bloc architecture " puis d'une société de promotion immobilière, " Conception Développement Immob. " permettant de protéger financièrement la liberté d'entreprise de l'atelier. 1996 le tribunal du commerce de Paris prononce la liquidation judiciaire de la " CDI ". Puis vient le tour du dépôt de bilan de l'atelier " bloc architecture ".Décembre 1999 projection de " Thinks Songs " vidéo film de 53 min au " bateau phare " à Paris XIII. Juillet 2002 projection de " Euchronie " vidéo film de 41 min à l'ouverture du festival " Camping électronique ".Octobre 2002 exposition de l'installation " MET A MOR PHINe " à la galerie " glob'@rt " à Paris XIX.Novembre 2003 projection de " Euchronie " aux 16èmes Instants Vidéos de Manosque.


Thierry Briard studied logic and philosophy at Paris XII University, as well as architecture at the ESA, and then travelled in Africa. He learnt differents modes of artistic expression: painting and cinema. He took courses with G. Deleuze and participated in P. Virilio's workshops. After his graduation, he created the studio and agency "bloc architecture" then a building society "Conception Développement Immob." which allowed the financial protection of the studio's freedom of enterprise. In 1996, Commercial Court of Paris pronounced the compulsory liquidation of the "CDI". Then followed the petition in bankruptcy of the studio. In December 1999 "Think Songs" (a 53 min video film) was screened at the "bateau phare" in Paris. In July 2002, "Euchronie" (a 41 min video film) was screened at the opening of the festival "Camping électronique". In October 2002, the installation "MET A MOR PHINe" was exhibited at the gallery "glob'@rt" in Paris. In November 2003, "Euchronie" was screened at the 16th Instants Vidéos in Manosque.
