Geneviève Anhoury est née au Liban en 1966. Elle a étudié l'art à Londres et le cinéma à Paris, où elle vit aujourd'hui. Son travail inclut la réalisation, et la photographie.
Elle a écrit, produit et réalisé Les couleurs du corps. Une première version a été projettée au New-York Women's Film Festival, et à l'Avignon / New-York Film Festival, où il a été récompensé par un prix pour la qualité de l'image, le Vision Award.
La version définitive du film sera projetée, en compétition internationale au Tampere International Short Film Festival, en mars 1999.
Les projets actuels de Geneviève Anhoury comprennent un documentaire, un portrait du compositeur-metteur en scène de théâtre musical Heiner Goebbels; une projection de photographies sur le dôme du planétarium pour un concert de musique contemporaine (nov 99, Danemark); et un court métrage, Point d'esprit oblique, qui raconte l'histoire d'une femme qui tue ce qu'elle touche.
Elle écrit un scénario de long métrage, Papier peint, à propos d'une botaniste déchirée entre la souffrance et les merveilles de ses hallucinations.

Geneviève Anhoury wurde 1966 im Libanon geboren. Sie hat Kunst in London und Filmkunst in Paris studiert, wo sie heute lebt.
Ihre Arbeit besteht aus Fotografie, besonders eine Folge von Schaufensterpuppen, die in einer Londoner Fabrik gemacht wurden, und Obst in Zerlegung, die zur Zeit in Paris belichten werden.

Die entgültige Version des Films wird im internationalen Wettbewerb im Tampere International Short Film Festival im März 1999 vorgeführt worden.
Ihre jetzigen Projekte bestehen aus einem Dokumentarfilm, einem Portrait des Komponistes-Regisseurs von Musiktheater, Heiner Goebbels; Fotografien, die auf den Dom eines Planetariums während eines zeitgenössischen Musikkonzerts (November 99 in Dänemark) vorgeführt worden werden, und einem Kurzfilm, “ Schräger Geistpunkt ”, der die Geschichte einer Frau erzählt, die bringt was sie berührt um.
Sie hat auch die Schrift eines hauptfilmdrehbuchs, “ Tapete ”, über eine Botanikerin, die zwischen Schmerz und die Wunder ihrer Halluzinationen zerrissen wird.

Geneviève Anhoury's current project include o documentary on the music-theatre composer Heiner Goebbels; photographs projected onto the roof of a planetarium during a concert of contemporary music; and a short film Point d'esprit oblique which tells the story of a woman who kills averything she touches.
Sha has also started the writing of a feature film entitled Wallpaper, about a botanist torn between the anguish and the marvels of her hallucinations.
