Paris 2026 programme

The Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin will take place in Paris from 23 to 29 November 2026, with free admission and an exceptional programme in the presence of artists and guests from all over the world.

Documentary approaches, experimental fictions, videos, hybrid and multimedia forms. In the presence of artists and guests from all over the world, the 2026 edition in Paris will offer a unique international programme bringing together works selected from the 5,227 submissions received from 119 countries. The programme of the Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin 2026 will gather about 120 works from 40 countries, 90% of which will be premieres: screenings, exhibitions, performances, discussions and a forum.

For 7 days, the Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin will offer a genuine laboratory for discovery and reflection dedicated to contemporary practices in the moving image.

Premiers temps forts

#musct-see - Choreographer Meg Stuart, Golden Lion at the 2018 Venice Dance Biennale, will present the film "Sulphur Edges", exploring the sensory relationship between body, history and architecture. International premiere.

#musct-see - In her new film, "Myth and Mercury", Rosa Barba explores the relationships between image, time and landscape, interweaving fragments of Antonio Gramsci’s life with cosmic phenomena.

#musct-see - With "Letters of Disappointment", Dora García presents a collective reading-performance bringing together writings by feminist figures, exploring the relationship between politics and disillusionment.

Among the 142 works programmed, we should also mention the presentation of previously unseen works by Ed Atkins and Steven Zultanski, Christine Ayo, Kamal Aljafari, Michael Busch, Pauline Curnier Jardin, Sebastián Díaz Morales, Eteam, Kevin Jerome Everson, Leopold Emmen, Silvia Maglioni and Thomson Graeme, Caroline Poggi and Jonathan Vinel, Lina Selander and Oscar mangione, Bárbara Wagner and Benjamin de Burca, Larissa Sansour and Søren Lind, anb many others.

For the fifth year, an international jury will award the Moving Image Art Prize to one of the works in the programme.
