Une jeune femme, dont le mari est tenu en captivité dans un commissariat, s'y rend tous les jours pour lui rendre visite ou du moins s'informer sur sa situation. Mais son mari n'est pas là. Le commissaire est tombé amoureux de la femme et ne lui dit pas la vérité...


Eine junge Frau, deren Ehemann auf einer Polizeiwache eingesperrt ist, geht jeden Tag dorthin und versucht ihn zu sehen oder zumindest Informationen über ihn zu bekommen. Ihr Ehemann ist jedoch nicht dort. Der Hauptkommissar verliebt sich in sie und versäumt es, ihr die Wahrheit zu sagen.


A young woman, whose husband is imprisoned in a police station, go there every day to try to see him or at least get some information about him. But her husband is not there. The superintendent has fallen in love with her and neglects to tell her the truth...

Mehdi Boostani est né en 1978 à Kerman en Iran et est diplômée en réalisation cinématographique (Soureh College). Elle suit actuellement des cours de littérature dramatique à l'Université de Téhéran.


Mehdi Boostani was born in 1978 in Kerman (Iran) and graduated in film direction from Soureh College. She is now a student of dramatic literature at Tehran University.

Mahkoom est le premier volet d'une trilogie mettant en scène trois personnages : deux représentants de l'ordre et une femme, dont le mari est en prison (peut-être pour dissidence politique). Le personnage de la femme varie dans chacun des trois films. Mahkoom dépeint l'absurde et vague relation qui lie le commissaire, un soldat et la jeune femme qui sont tous, d'une manière ou d'une autre, des marionnettes. Victimes d'un régime dictatorial, ils sont tous condamnés à un destin non-souhaité qui leur échappe.

Mahkoom is the first part of a trilogy with three characters: two policemen and a woman whose husband is imprisonned (maybe for political dissent). The character of the woman is different in each of the three films. This film narrates an absurd and vague relation between the superintendent, a soldier and the young woman who are all somehow puppets. They are the victims of a dictatorial regime and all are condemned to an unwanted fate.
