Other projects

Alongside screenings and exhibitions, some collaborations take the form of multi-disciplinary projects, conferences or panel discussions, while others take the form of ephemeral artistic presentations.

In 2023-2024, the Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin, in partnership with the Cité internationale des arts, is extending the series of discussions with artists in residence, focusing on the notions of hybrid spaces and critical spaces in the field of the moving image.

For this new session, Nathalie Hénon and Jean-François Rettig, curators of the Rencontres internationales Paris/Berlin, invite participants to work on the notion of the 'critical zone' developed by Bruno Latour, in relation to the exhibition 'Ecosystem Assembly' presented at the Casino Luxembourg - Forum d'art contemporain in March and April 2023.

Several works or documentations of works will be projected during the session. The aim of this session is to provide an informal and convivial space for discussion and exchange around ideas and works.
