We are delighted to announce the latest edition of the Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin, which will take place in Paris from 24 to 30 November 2025. The event invites you on a unique journey between different venues, including the Jeu de Paume, the MEP Paris, the Forum des images, the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature and the Cité internationale des arts.

The 2025 edition offers a rare programme, 92% of which will be premiering in France, Europe and internationally, featuring documentaries, fiction, experimental practices, hybrid and multimedia forms.

You will attend screenings – carte blanche, focus, themed sessions – presentations, VR experiences, round tables and a daily forum bringing together artists and researchers who will share their experiences and reflections on contemporary audiovisual practices and their challenges.

Programme and highlights

The programme will feature many new events. Among the highlights of this edition are three exceptional carte blanche projects entrusted to major figures in contemporary art: Laure Prouvost, whose work explores the relationships between language, image and perception, inviting viewers to an immersive, sensory experience, and Albert Serra, whose radical cinema explores the limits of fiction and questions time and vertigo.

An exclusive selection

Attended by artists and filmmakers from around the world, the event offers an exceptional programme, bringing together more than 120 pieces of work from over 50 countries, featuring internationally renowned artists alongside emerging artists and young artists being presented for the first time.

Two exceptional carte blanche :

Laure Prouvost

Her unique work unfolds new narratives, with images and the materiality of words responding to each other in a sensory and poetic experience.

Laure Prouvost is a Turner Prize winner and represented France at the 58th Venice Art Biennale.

Albert Serra

Between history, myth and contemplation, his films question narrative through hypnotic forms and visual experimentation.

Albert Serra received the Golden Leopard at the Locarno Film Festival and won the Special Jury Prize in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival.

Antoni Muntadas

His multifaceted work – videos, installations, public interventions – addresses social and political issues, challenging perceptions of information.
